Born in Reggio Emilia in 1970

He graduated in percussion/tympani at the Conservatory of Parma with Stefano Cantarelli with honors.

Drawn from the battery and the small percussion, he realizes his early musical arrangement and begins to attend various courses, adding immediately to percussion piano and composition.

Signed his first contract in symphony orchestra in 1990 and after obtaining various fitness for auditions and competitions began his career working with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, the Orchestra of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Orchestra Accademia of S. Cecilia, directed by leading directors (G. Sinopoli, Riccardo Muti, L. Maazel, G. Pretre, Z. Mehta, M. W. Chung, E. Inbal, A. Pappano, G. Bertini, J. Tate, K. Masur, etc..)

Participated in several tours in Italy and abroad (France, Spain, German, Switzerland, Japan, China) while continuing to compose and write music, especially theater.

From 1996 to 1998 he was part of the trio of percussion "ETNOS."

From 1998 to 2001 he was a member of the percussion group of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai with whom he recorded three CD.

It 'was a professor of percussion instruments/tympani at the Conservatory in Sassari for the academic year 2003/2004.

In July 2004 he won the competition to place a percussionist at the Foundation Gran Teatro "La Fenice" in Venice, where he worked steadily.

Toggle a percussionist with the activity as a composer. Among recent works include the play "Evoluzioni" which is also the author of the text, the work for children “Il grande tesoro”, run at the theater halls Apollinee the La Fenice Theatre: Sulla torre di Gąlata, Joking dances, Prologue and Prolixus, Tre movimenti da "Trio suite", Riflessi all'imbrunire, Ballata venexiana.

Among his last works the premičre: Trio  for violin, cello, piano Op. 82 (2012), Preludio for four trombones Op. 65a (2012), Asturias Parąphrasis for clarinet and piano Op. 86 (2014), Sonatina for cello and harrpsichord Op. 87 (2014), Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra Op. 22 (2015), Introduzione, Adagio e Corale (2017)

In January 2015 he held a Master Class at the Conservatory of Vibo Valentia.
